Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026 · Version: 1.0
Who is responsible for your data
Secreta is published by DevAlonso Apps, a developer based in España. This policy covers the Secreta mobile app (iOS and Android) and this website.
Data controller: DevAlonso Apps, España. Contact: support@secretagame.com.
The short version
There are no Secreta accounts, no advertising and no tracking SDKs. Your name and your progress are stored only on your device. The app sends data to three services, and only for these three purposes: crash diagnostics (Sentry, hosted in the European Union), purchases (RevenueCat together with the App Store or Google Play billing) and update checks (Expo Updates).
What is collected and why
1. Crash and error diagnostics — Sentry
Technical data is sent when the app crashes or throws an error: device model, operating system version, app version, the error trace and your IP address.
- Purpose: find and fix the crashes that affect stability.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the app working and secure.
- Processor: Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), project hosted on
de.sentry.io(European Union region). - Retention: approximately 30 days, then deleted.
2. Purchases and entitlements — RevenueCat and the app stores
When you buy the Pro version, the app receives an anonymous app user identifier from RevenueCat, and RevenueCat stores the purchase history for that identifier. Payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); the app and RevenueCat never see your card or bank details.
- Purpose: know whether Pro is active on your device and restore the purchase.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract you enter when you buy the Pro version.
- Processors: RevenueCat, Inc. and, for billing, Apple Distribution International and Google Ireland Limited.
- Retention: while the purchase relationship lasts.
3. Update checks — Expo Updates
When the app checks whether a new version exists, Expo receives the app version and the platform (iOS or Android). No personal identifier is attached.
- Purpose: deliver fixes without waiting for a full store release.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the installed app current and safe.
- Processor: Expo (650 Industries, Inc.), infrastructure at
u.expo.dev. - Retention: per Expo’s own policy.
What is not done
- No accounts, no sign-up, no email required to play.
- No third-party analytics and no advertising SDKs: no Firebase, Amplitude, PostHog, Segment, Mixpanel, AdMob, Meta or AppsFlyer.
- No tracking between apps or across websites, and no advertising identifiers.
- No access to your contacts, photos, files, location, camera or microphone. The app does not request those permissions.
- The app does not read, copy or monitor any real phone. The cases are fiction: the phone interface you explore is built into the app.
Where your data lives
Your display name and your game progress — chapter, answered questions and unlocked hints — are stored only on your device, in the app’s local database. They are not uploaded to any server owned by DevAlonso Apps and they are not attached to any account. If you delete the app or change device, that progress is gone; there is no server-side copy to recover.
International transfers
Sentry (European Union region), RevenueCat and Expo operate mainly from the United States, so data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can exercise the following rights by writing to support@secretagame.com:
- GDPR / LOPDGDD (EU and Spain): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and the right not to be subject to automated decisions. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
- CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Secreta does not sell or share personal information.
- LGPD (Brazil): confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, portability and deletion.
Purchases are held by Apple or Google, so for anything related to a payment you must use the store’s own request tools; we cannot modify billing records.
Minors
Secreta is a relationship drama written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. Data from children under 13 is not knowingly collected. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to support@secretagame.com and it will be deleted.
Security
Data in transit travels over HTTPS. Access to the Sentry project and the RevenueCat dashboard is restricted to the developer and protected with two-factor authentication. The app stores your local data inside its sandboxed storage.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The version and effective date at the top of this page always reflect the current text, and the English version prevails over the translations. Substantial changes are announced inside the app or on this website.
