1. What this document is

These terms govern your use of the Secreta mobile app and of this website. By installing or playing Secreta you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Secreta is fiction

Secreta is a work of interactive fiction. All cases, characters, messages, photographs and phone interfaces are invented and exist only inside the app.

Secreta is not a tool to follow, control, locate or monitor anybody, and it has no technical ability to do so: it cannot read, copy or display the contents of a real phone. Any resemblance to real people or real conversations is coincidental. Using Secreta against another person, or presenting its content as the real contents of a phone, is a breach of these terms.

The app’s interface includes fictional parody apps — among them Instagrem, WhatsUp, Spotifi, Tindr, ChatGTP, Airbnd and Snapchap. They are invented names with no affiliation to, and no endorsement from, Instagram, WhatsApp, Spotify, Tinder, Airbnb, OpenAI or Snapchat.

3. Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play Secreta on the devices you own or control, for private entertainment. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, distribute or make the app available to third parties, and you may not extract its story, art or text for commercial use.

4. Purchases

The first 9 questions of every case are free. The Pro version unlocks the rest of the case and applies to your account in the store you used to buy it.

• Price and subscription duration are shown in the app and in the store product page before you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You cancel from your store account settings (App Store or Google Play), not from inside the app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies and the consumer law that applies to you. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• You can restore a purchased Pro version with the “Restore purchase” option in the app’s shop, on the same store account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, not to use it for any unlawful purpose, not to bypass the purchase system and not to use the app to harass, accuse, threaten or investigate a real person.

6. Availability and changes

The app is offered as is and may change: cases can be added, modified or withdrawn, and features can evolve between versions. Availability depends on your device, on your operating system version and on the app stores.

7. No warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation and freedom from errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DevAlonso Apps is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of progress stored on your device, or loss of data caused by uninstalling the app, changing device or a device failure. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Intellectual property

The story, the dialogue, the artwork, the code, the design and the Secreta name and logo belong to DevAlonso Apps. The parody apps mentioned in section 2 are fictional and do not belong to, or represent, the real services they evoke.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence and you keep the protections granted by the mandatory consumer law that applies to you; otherwise the courts of España have jurisdiction.

11. Changes and contact

These terms can be updated when the app changes; the version and effective date at the top of this page always reflect the current text, and the English version prevails over the translations.
